ABOUT RACCOON
Raccoon is a timid and shy little animal who can usually be found hiding in a tree. Though he is shy, Raccoon is brave at heart (as we all find out) in his appearance in the very first book of the Crossman Folk Art Animals Series.

Fox is a friendly and impulsive character. His brain works so fast that sometimes he gets distracted and does things he doesn’t mean to. When he is focused and paying attention, he can be very creative.Fox is the star of the second book in the Folk Art Animals series.
ABOUT CAT
Cat is a genius…at least, that is what she thinks. All her friends know she is very smart, but she sometimes becomes a boastful “know-it-all.” Cat is the focus of the third book in the Crossman Folk Art Animals Series.
ABOUT KITTY
Kitty is very kind and thoughtful. She even has beautiful sparkles of white light all around her. Despite these good attributes, Kitty feels different from everyone else. Kitty will find out just how special she is in the fourth book of the Folk Art Animals series.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Bonnie Crossman used to be a shy little girl who learned to be brave. She is not afraid of the dark, or spiders, or making friends. Originally from the east coast of the United States, she now travels the world and lives part time in South America! Bonnie and her two grown up children belong to a family of artists deeply rooted in a love for nature, animals, and children. Her mission is to impart lighthearted humor to both children and adults, all the while delivering valuable lessons on the journey of growing up.
ABOUT THE CREATORS
Gary and Jean Crossman were decoy carvers who lived on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Maryland. Besides wooden duck decoys, they also created a variety of Folk Art, including the Crossman Folk Art Animals. They were very imaginative, loving people who shared their creations with many people around the world who now own their work. They are remembered fondly by those who knew them.
